Job description

Science Technician

37 hours per week term time only plus 2 INSET/Twilights

8.00am - 4.00pm Monday to Thursday / 8.00am - 3.30pm Friday

NJC Level 4 Points 8-12 Actual Salary £23,539-£25,035 (FTE £27920-£29694)

The ideal candidate must have science qualifications up to ‘A’ level or equivalent and a genuine interest and love of science. They must be proactive and able to work independently in a supportive environment and ideally have experience as a science technician.

The job entails preparation and organisation of resources for the smooth operation of science lessons and maintenance of equipment and laboratories.

Any previous experience in a similar role will be advantageous but enthusiastic trainees are also invited to apply. Training, development and progression opportunities are encouraged and available for the right person.
