Job description

Lettings & Premises Officer (Saturdays)

Required from 1st September 2026

Grade 8, Pay Point 15

Permanent Contract

Grade 8 paid £14.82 per hour

Flexible hours and days per year at weekends

Depending upon the school opening hours usually 7.30am to 3.30pm Saturdays and / or Sundays with opportunities to undertake overtime when available (depending upon the opening hours of the school the hours will vary between 8 and 10 hours a day)

We are expanding our Premises and Lettings Team across the Trust.

LiFE Multi Academy Trust is increasing its community use of its secondary schools at weekends and so is looking to expand its team of Lettings and Premises Officers at weekends.

There are currently 6 secondary schools in the Trust:

Ashby School - Ashby de la Zouch

Bosworth Academy - Desford

Countesthorpe Academy - Countesthorpe

Ibstock School - Ibstock

Ivanhoe School - Ashby de la Zouch

The Winstanley School - Braunstone Town

We can be very flexible with these appointments. In terms of location candidates can apply to work at one or more schools, they can work Saturdays, Sundays or both, every week or alternate weekends.

In addition to the core hours at each school extra hours may be available, but not obligatory for successful candidates.

The work will be customer focused - Lettings Premises Officers will be the face of the Trust to the members of the community hiring our facilities.

The high quality facilities include swimming pools at Ashby, Ibstock, Bosworth and Winstanley, sports playing fields, ‘astroturf’ pitches, sports halls and gyms, classrooms, theatres, dance studios, a computer gaming room (at Countesthorpe) and lecture halls.

We are looking for candidates who have current or recent experience in Premises Officer, Lettings Officer or Leisure Services. However full training on all aspects of the role will be provided by our Lettings Team and each schools’ Facilities Managers.

You will be joining a team of established Premises Officers at each of the schools, along with the Lettings Team, who will ensure you are fully integrated into your role.

Candidates may already be working in one of our schools and looking for additional guaranteed hours. Alternatively candidates may be new to the Trust and looking for regular weekend work. We are seeking to appoint several Weekend Lettings & Premises Officers and can offer flexibility to meet individual preferences.

Closing Date

The closing date for completed applications is Thursday 21st August 2026, with interviews taking place during Thursday 27th August 2026. Successful candidates will be invited to undertake some paid training between June and the end of August.

Application forms and further details can be downloaded from Eteach.

Completed application forms should be submitted via ETeach. An email will be sent to shortlisted candidates with details of the interview process and the outline of the day.

If you have any queries on any aspect of the application or need additional information, please contact the school or send an email via ETeach, where we will be happy to help you.

Thank you, and we are really looking forward to hearing from you.
