Food Technician (DT Department)

Clyst Vale is a thriving and vibrant 11- 16 Community College situated five miles from Exeter. Starting 3rd September or as soon as possible after that date, we are seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic Food Technology Technician to support our busy and successful Design & Technology department. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting the delivery of engaging and inspiring Food Technology lessons for students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

As our Food Technician, you will be responsible for the preparation of ingredients, equipment and resources for practical lessons, ensuring that our food preparation facilities operate safely, efficiently and in compliance with food safety regulations. Working closely with teaching staff, you will help create an outstanding learning environment where students can develop essential food preparation and nutritional skills.

Experience in food preparation and hygiene is essential, and possession of a current Level 2 Food Safety is desirable.
