Job description

Are you passionate about making a real difference in young people's lives? We're looking for a proactive and compassionate Senior Attendance Officer - Family Outreach to help improve student attendance, remove barriers to learning, and build strong relationships with families.

This is a rewarding role where you'll combine data analysis with hands-on family engagement, working closely with students, parents, school staff, and external agencies to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive. From monitoring attendance and conducting home visits to developing targeted support strategies, you'll play a key role in promoting a culture where attendance matters.

We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a calm and empathetic approach, strong organisational ability, and a commitment to safeguarding and supporting young people. Experience in a school environment and working with attendance systems such as SIMS is desirable.

Job Details

Hours of Work: 37 Hours per Week, Term Time Only
