Job description
We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join our team in September, to support children with additional needs, at our friendly and successful Outstanding rated (December 2023) Infant and Nursery school. This role is Monday-Friday 9am-3pm.

We are looking for someone who is:
- nurturing, enthusiastic and passionate about supporting children to thrive
- ambitious for all pupils and committed to high standards
- confident in spoken English, with strong grammar skills to support early language development and phonics
- knowledgeable about how young children learn through play
- has experience in a school setting (desirable)
The successful candidate will work as part of an inspiring and supportive teaching team, supporting children’s learning across the curriculum. You will work with different children in different classes, along with a team of other learning support assistants.

This role is term time only (38 weeks) plus five INSET days, with a minimum of two days worked during school holidays (pro-rata) and is initally on a fxed term basis for one academic year.
