Job description
Hours:10 hours per week Term Time only
Shift Pattern:Monday to Friday, 4 PM –6 PM
Salary:Grade 2, points 3 to 4
Contract Type:Permanent / Part-Time

Key Responsibilities
Your daily routines will play a vital role in keeping our high school safe and hygienic. Duties include:
- Cleaning designated areas of the school, including classrooms, corridors, staff rooms, and toilets.
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and emptying waste bins.
- Ensuring soap, paper towels, and sanitiser dispensers are replenished.
- Using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly (training provided).
- Reporting any maintenance issues or health and safety hazards to the Site Manager.
- Deep cleaning duties during designated school holiday weeks.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience:Previous cleaning experience is preferred, but not essential—a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are what matter most!
- Reliability:Punctual, dependable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to Detail:High standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Awareness:A basic understanding of COSHH (Health & Safety) is a bonus, though full training will be given.
Please Note:Because this role is based within a high school, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhancedDBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checkprior to starting employment.
