Vacancy for Level 2 Teaching Assistant

(Fixed-Term Contract until Aug 2027)

Salary:

Meridian Trust Grade 5, Points 5-7

£19,299.61 (Actual Annual Salary)

Hours:

32.5 a week

8.30am - 3.30pm (Monday-Friday)

39 Weeks a year (Term Time + 5 Days)

We have an exciting vacancy for a passionate and creative Teaching Assistant who thrives on helping students realise their potential at Woodston Primary School.

The Opportunity

  • Take responsibility for adapting and delivering learning activities with children, as agreed.
  • Motivate and engage the students, to reach their full potential.
  • Encourage and promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students.
  • Join a dedicated, enthusiastic team, within a supportive MAT.

The ideal candidate

  • Holds a good educational background with GCSE or equivalent in English Language.
  • Understands how children learn.
  • Is skilled at developing children’s self-esteem and motivation so that they become resilient, independent learners.
  • Has excellent communication skills and is able to develop and sustain positive relationships with pupils.
