Founded in 2017, Bridge Academy Trust is a thriving eleven school Multi-Academy Trust encompassing four secondary schools and seven primary schools located in Braintree, Chelmsford, Halstead, Ongar, and Witham.

What the Trust Values in Candidates

We are seeking individuals with the time, commitment, skills, and expertise to help guide the Trust’s strategic focus. We are particularly looking for individuals with a background in education, having operated at a senior and strategic level. Essential requirements include:

  • Strategic thinking and the ability to analyse information quickly.
  • Focus on strategic objectives and the ability to question and challenge effectively.
  • Judgement to make sound, informed decisions.

Role Responsibilities

  • Attend monthly Trust board meetings and occasional Board committee meetings, usually held in the evening.
  • Engage in occasional contributions outside of meetings.
