Job description
The St John Paul II Multi Academy is a highly successful Catholic Multi Academy encompassing nine Primary Schools and two Secondary Schools.
The ethos of St John Paul II Multi Academy is Catholic and was founded by the Catholic Church to provide education for children of Catholic families. As a Catholic multi academy, we aim to provide a Catholic education for all our pupils. As a Catholic multi academy, Catholic doctrine and practice permeate every aspect of every one of our school’s activities. It is essential that the Catholic character of the school’s education be fully supported by all staff within the multi academy. HR Officer Job PurposeTo provide a high-quality, accurate and responsive operational HR service across St John Paul II Multi Academy, working closely with the HR Business Partner and colleagues across the MAC. The postholder will coordinate core employee-lifecycle processes, with particular responsibility for monthly payroll administration, HR systems and data, absence recording, pensions, family leave, recruitment and onboarding.
The role will support schools through an exciting period of MAC growth by helping to deliver consistent processes, reliable records and an approachable service for employees and managers. The postholder will exercise sound judgement, resolve routine queries and escalate complex or sensitive matters to the HR Business Partner as appropriate.
