Maintenance Tech Supervisor - Site

Role PurposeTo supervise the provision and delivery of on-site first and second level preventive and corrective maintenance for all systems and equipment on site in order to ensure that the maintenance work is delivered on time, meets specifications within the set KPIs, agreed budgets and adopted policies and procedures. Key Accountability AreasKey ActivitiesNon-ANS System Maintenance ManagementSupervise technical teams during the delivery and provision of preventive maintenance schedules and ensure that work is delivered on time and within budget.Supervise timely and effective response to corrective maintenance, keeping operations safe, effective, and efficient.Participate in the delivery of corrective maintenance activities of non-ANS systems when necessary.Provide expert, technical advice and guidance within installed systems to support all areas of maintenance workOn-Site Maintenance SupportSupervise the provision of effective on-site maintenance support (i.e., level 1 and 2 support) for various systems and facilities by Site Specialists and Technicians.Supervise teams to ensure that all maintenance activities are being conducted in compliance with preventive and corrective maintenance standards.Information Relay and Knowledge SharingEnsure that proper communications are being initiated with internal and external colleagues/contractor /suppliers/partners to deliver maintenance activities.Oversee all maintenance records and ensure that Sector Maintenance Planning is made aware of all issues and problems, as well as providing input in case of complaints with installed systems.Participate in relevant systems and equipment handover in coordination with Systems Engineering to ensure proper knowledge transferPolicies, Processes and ProceduresSupport in monitoring day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with stipulated policies and procedures. Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes taking into account leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvementPeople ManagementActively participate in on-the-job training, mentoring, and coaching of subordinatesProvide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign, and delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow.Promote a high-performance working environment embracing SANS’s values Knowledge and ExperienceMinimum of 6 years of experience in CNS-ATM system management/maintenanceEducation and CertificationsTechnical Diploma in a related field or equivalent is required.Bachelor’s degree in related filed is preferred
