In this role you will get to work alongside mobility experts in the development of a large city in Saudi Arabia by aligning with key stakeholders to update the city's strategic transportation model.What You'll Be Doing:Building a wide network of key program stakeholders across development districtsReceiving and tracking approved model update requestsApplying updates to the strategic transportation modelIncorporate changes to reviewed control documents (e.g. transport network changes, PT service changes, Zone modification/disaggregation)Responsible for identifying required updates to demand site assumptions/inputsTranslates changed in reviewed control documents into updates to model codingValidates model outputs in accordance with established standards and guidanceParticipate in management meetings and activities with the Mobility teamWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:Degree in Transportation Engineering, Planning, or similar.15 years hands-on experience with strategic transport modeling software (ideally Bentley EMME) and mesoscopic/microscopic modelling (Aimsun Next experience)Skills in coding/model scripting (e.g., Python, R) advantageous.Portfolio of projects working on model updates relating to large scale development / PT masterplans.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:Exceptional communication skillsAbility to work within culturally-diverse team and quickly establish key relationshipsExperience working on giga projects in the Kingdom of Saudi ArabiaParsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
