Job Description:Parsons is seeking an experienced Roads & Pavement Engineer to support the design review, construction supervision, quality control, and technical coordination of roads, airport landside road networks, airfield pavements, and associated civil infrastructure for a major Airport Development Project.What You'll Be DoingReview pavement and roadway designs.Verify compliance with project requirements and international standards.Review geometric design, pavement structures, grading, and cross-sections.Review flexible and rigid pavement designs.Evaluate pavement thickness calculations and material specifications.Assess pavement performance and durability.Review contractor shop drawings and method statements.Conduct site inspections.Verify construction quality and compliance.Coordinate pavement interfaces with airfield systems and utilities.Review operational impacts during construction.Support phased construction planning.Coordinate with airport authorities, consultants, contractors, and government agencies.Support technical approvals.Monitor pavement testing.Review asphalt and concrete quality reports.Ensure compliance with project specifications.Prepare technical reports and engineering recommendations.Monitor progress and construction quality.Promote safe construction practices.Participate in risk assessments and constructability reviews.What Required Skills You'll BringBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.Minimum 8 years in Roads and Pavement Engineering.Airport, highways, or transportation infrastructure experience.Construction supervision experience.Pavement design principles.Airport pavement standards.Material testing procedures.Civil engineering software.Strong coordination and reporting skills.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:Professional Engineer registration.ICAO and FAA pavement experience.Knowledge of pavement management systems.Experience under FIDIC contracts.Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
