Description: At Rhyme, we empower businesses with a system processing real-time sensor data and video streams. Your role as an SRE involves ensuring system stability and reliability at the intersection of software engineering and DevOps.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Rime's server infrastructure to handle high-throughput real-time data and video streams, ensuring 99.9% uptime.
- Build and develop CI/CD pipelines to automate update rollouts.
- Implement proactive monitoring systems to detect network issues or stream disconnections.
- Lead emergency incident response and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Optimize operational costs and load balancing.
- Apply security best practices to protect data and ensure compliance with governance policies.
Requirements:
- Mastery of container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
- Strong experience using Terraform or Ansible.
- Solid coding skills for automation scripts (Python, Go, or Bash).
- Solid understanding of network protocols, with experience handling video streaming workflows (RTSP, WebRTC) and IoT data streams.
- Advanced experience with monitoring and alerting stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog).
- Solid grasp of cloud security protocols and IAM.
