تفقد مضخة مياه إطفاء الحرائق بشكل دوري وتفقد جاهزية المضخة وتشغيلها عند نشوب أي حريق وفتح صمامات مداخل المياه ومخارجها وربط خراطيم المياه بالمضخة وتنفيذ برامج الصيانة الوقائية لمضخة الحريق.
