Job description

Teaching Assistant: Level 2

Location: Tockwith Church of England Primary Academy

Hours: 30 hours per week, 8.50am - 3.20pm Monday to Friday, to be worked during the school term time

Salary: £26,427 - £27,274

Actual Salary: £18,542 - £19,137

Contract: Fixed term until 22/07/2027

Being a Teaching Assistant requires a certain set of skills and expertise

You will have calm and caring disposition

The ability to break down activities into small step and step teaching

A team player, willing to work closely with likeminded people who all have the children’s best interest at heart

Someone who is able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding in child development and the curriculum

Passionate about enhancing each child’s experiences and building upon their learning.
