Job description
Kingfisher Learning Trust is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to deliver high‑quality, timely and professional HR support across our schools and central team. This is a new role to the Trust and will be a pivotal role as the Trust grows, working closely with leaders to influence positive people practices, drive early resolution, and ensure our colleagues feel supported, valued and empowered.
What the role entails:
Providing expert advice on Trust policies, procedures, employment legislation and terms and conditions.
Managing a varied caseload including attendance, disciplinary, grievance and capability matters.
Acting as Investigating Officer and presenting findings at formal hearings.
Supporting leaders through HR processes with confidence, clarity and professionalism.
Coordinating TUPE activity for schools joining or leaving the Trust.
Advising on wellbeing, attendance management and occupational health recommendations.
Contributing to policy development and ensuring compliance with safeguarding, GDPR and employment law.
Building strong relationships with leaders and trade union representatives.
What you will bring:
CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
Strong HR advisory experience, including employee relations casework.
Confident understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Experience working with trade unions and handling confidential information.
Ability to analyse information and make sound recommendations.
