Job description
The governors of this oversubscribed outstanding Catholic school under the CSI framework, are seeking to appoint a reliable, hardworking and organised Cover Supervisor to join the team. Are you looking for that position to give you experience in your first step to teacher training? The person we appoint will be fully supported in their induction and have access to high quality professional development opportunities. The successful candidate will also join the school at an exciting time as we prepare for the development of a brand-new, state of the art school opening in September 2026.
Cardinal Newman is a highly successful 11-18 Catholic comprehensive school set in 37-acre grounds in the pleasant outskirts of Coventry. In our most recent Ofsted visit, staff morale was identified as being high and we are fully committed to the positive wellbeing of our staff.
There is a vibrant staff social body with calendared events to ensure that staff can meet and socialise outside of the classroom.

The successful candidate will:
