Job description

Job Title: Ancillary Assistant

Location: The Fountains Primary School

Grade/Scale: Support Pay Scale (Grade 2.3)

Contract: 37 hours per week, Term Time + Inset Days (8.15am - 16.15pm)

The Fountains Primary School are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Ancillary Assistant who can provide general support to the teacher and class team in the care of the pupils and management of the

classroom. The ideal candidate should have experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs, though this is not essential. Reporting directly to the appointed Line Manager, the ideal candidate will be flexible, motivated and a caring individual who has a passion for children with SEN and has a good standard of general education. No experience of working with children with SEN is necessary, however applications will be considered from individuals who are keen and open to training in order to develop their own knowledge and understanding about working in a special school.
