Job description

Behaviour Support Assistant

Fixed Term Contract until 31 August 2027

Grade 5, point 11-15

37 hours a week

38.2 weeks per year (term time, includes Trust Development Day, plus one school INSET day)      

Start Date: September 2026

Closing Date: 28 August 2026

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Behaviour Support team at Ralph Allen.

The Behaviour Support Team play a crucial role in ensuring high standards of behaviour and learning are supported throughout our School.    

 

The successful candidate will:

• Have experiencing working with challenging behaviour 

• Be passionate about supporting young people’s Mental Heath

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Be able to remain calm, patient and supportive in challenging situations

• Have a willingness to work as part of a team and adapt to the needs of students
