Job description

St Raphael the Archangel CMAT are looking to appoint Finance Assistant on a fixed term basis until 31st August 2027 to support the Central Finance Team. This part time role working 30 - 35 hours per week for 41 weeks per year, will be based at St Benedict’s Catholic High School, Alcester, but occasionally work may be required in other schools. Finance is a happy, supportive and loyal team and we look forward to welcoming a new team member.

The successful candidate will:

  • Load transactions onto accounting software for all 29 CMAT schools
  • Be a point of contact for enquiries and queries by email and telephone internally and externally
  • Support with processing new supplier forms following set protocols
  • Look to add value for money for all schools ensuring cost savings across the CMAT
  • Process income transactions and other nominal account journals
  • Any other duties including tasks to support audit and other compliance work
  • Work with other team members to ensure tight deadlines are achieved
  • Be supportive of our Catholic ethos of the school
  • Have high expectations of all children
  • Have energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude
